Scott Israel is quick to call names or launch smears via Twitter and Facebook. Kinda makes you wonder if this guy has the temperament to be Broward Sheriff. Mr. Israel did not like questions regarding money he received for coaching football at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school. First he claimed his years with the program were “purely volunteer”. Then he admitted receiving a stipend for all years except this one. He refuses to state who paid him the stipend.
While it doesn’t rank with George W. Bush impersonators and phony tea party endorsements, this YouTube video questions the “exemplary record” of Democrat sheriff candidate Scott Israel. The video features footage of Israel’s recent appearance before the Broward Police Benevolent Association. As an added bonus, they throw in a clip of Stacy Ritter (D-Booby Trap) interviewing Sheriff Al Lamberti.
