While it doesn’t rank with George W. Bush impersonators and phony tea party endorsements, this YouTube video questions the “exemplary record” of Democrat sheriff candidate Scott Israel. The video features footage of Israel’s recent appearance before the Broward Police Benevolent Association. As an added bonus, they throw in a clip of Stacy Ritter (D-Booby Trap) interviewing Sheriff Al Lamberti.
They must be fans of RED BROWARD!!!
Below is the complete video of Israel at the Broward PBA.
Scott Israel’s stated “exemplary record” is in question ? Well, let’s see about Al Lamberti. According to the Sun Sentinel Republican Sheriff Al Lamberti’s top paid political advisor, Republican Bill Lewis, is a convicted cocaine trafficker. Lamberti denied knowledge of Lewis’s criminal past. But isn’t it the Sheriff’s JOB to check the backgrounds of his staff according to BSO regulations that strictly prohibit BSO officers from associating with felons? Lamberti didn’t even fire him until Lewis was arrested for domestic abuse when the conviction became public. I don’t think that looks too good on Lamberti’srecord. Is this the man we trust to be sheriff?

Sheriff Al Lamberti’s involvement with convicted Ponzi schemer Rothstein is well known. With Al Lamberti in office, Scott Rothstein used his ill-gotten wealth to influence law enforcement in Broward County. He used the BSO as his personal Gestapo! I think three corrupt sheriffs in a row is enough for Broward residents to endure. Scott Israel is infinitely preferable to Al Lamberti. If the South Florida Times poll is any indication. Lamberti will go down in flames.
