Daniel Foganholi returns to the Broward School Board on Wednesday when he takes the oath of office for the District 1 seat. Last month, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Foganholi after declaring a vacancy on the school board. Rod Velez won the November election but he could not legally hold public office due to a felony conviction. District 1 covers southeast Broward County. Foganholi previously represented schools in northwest Broward.
