RED BROWARD has chronicled Broward Democrats deep, deep desire to regain control of the Broward Sheriff’s Office. They lost control when disgraced former Sheriff (and Democrat politico) Ken Jenne relocated to a federal penal colony.
Sure the Broward Police Benevolent Association has a political component, yet this flyer for an upcoming PBA party is over-the-top in its partisan zeal.
The flyer was sent out for approval by Jeff Marano, PBA Senior Vice President. Published reports say Marano is “related by marriage” to Louis Granteed. Both men worked for the Hollywood Police Department. Granteed is rumored to be Judy Stern’s latest favorite to unseat Lamberti. (Sources tell Red Broward that Stern may have her hands in every BSO campaign).
Could this partisan party to “kick” the GOP simply be a campaign rally to regain the Sheriff’s Office? Stay tuned…
