BREAKING: The Tamarac City Commission voted to place a ninety day hold the controversial Shaker Village deal after a new lawsuit created title issues. The ninety day delay starts September 26, 2023. Hans Ottinot, the overmatched city attorney, said the lawsuit made it impossible for the issuance of title insurance. The lawsuit claims the Shaker Village Homeowners Association failed to acquire approval from seventy-five percent of homeowners to sell its dilapidated clubhouse for $1.9 million dollars.
