A tropical storm warning has been issued for Broward County. According to the National Hurricane Center, Broward will experience tropical storm force winds associated with Hurricane Milton in the next 24 hours. Stay tuned for further updates.
Is this how things started in San Francisco?
Nearly a dozen tents, motorhomes, shopping carts and even a sailboat make up a growing homeless encampment on public land near downtown Fort Lauderdale. The camp is spread on both sides of Broward Boulevard just west of Interstate 95. Tents even share space with vehicles parked at the Tri-Rail Station.
It appears as though the majority of tents are the same brand. The tents sit alongside numerous motorhomes and disabled vehicles in fenced off parking lots meant for train passengers.
