Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia Warns Broward Politicians “We Are Watching” Your Wasteful Spending

Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia issued a warning to Broward politicians who continue to waste taxpayer dollars—“We are watching…you are on our radar.” The warning came during a press event in Pembroke Pines Tuesday afternoon where Ingoglia exposed the bloated spending by Broward County government. Ingoglia said Broward County was wasting nearly $190 million dollars.

    Now they need to drill down tot he cities, Like Tamarac! They are draining our reserve funds to build a running track (5 million) and the Shaker Village community center (at least 12 million) so our reserves are going from $58 million to $11 million. They also need money to make our bloated budget! DOGE can’t get here soon enough!

    The state spent $83 million dollars to buy 4 acres in Destin from a contributor to the political campaigns of local officials. We needed that money for conservation efforts. Can you look into this? I think you voted against it – take it back – undo the deal.
