Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Daniel Foganholi To State Board Of Education

Governor Ron DeSantis just appointed Broward School Board Member Daniel Foganholi to the State Board Of Education. The appointment comes days after a disappointing electoral result for Foganholi on Tuesday. Foganholi will remain on the School Board through November.

Anna Fusco Attacks Daniel Foganholi and Other Broward School Board Members

The move is a stinging rebuke of Broward Teachers Union (BTU) President Anna Fusco who attacked Foganoli and other Board Members by name at a Wednesday board meeting. Fusco said “bye, bye, bye” to Foganholi. Now, with a spot on the State Board of Education, Daniel Foganholi will continue to have an oversight role in the district including the BTU.

Thanks, Anna!

Here’s the release from the press office of Governor Ron DeSantis:

A rebuke to Anna Fusco? Not hardly. Perhaps a slap in the face to all of those people who believe in PUBLIC EDUCATION: All of those people who voted DeSantis’ acolyte OUT of the Broward Board: All of those people witnessing the dictatorship of the governor. Talk about indoctrination of students. Hey Ron, check the mirror!

Anna seems to forget it was her support and campaigning for Rod Velez, who was ineligible to be a school board candidate, that caused Foganholi’s appointment to District 1. How quickly the narrative is rewritten.

DeSantis had to do something after a number of his Moms for Liberty-types thankfully lost woefully in recent elections. Anything to keep his own indoctrinations going. All hail creepy Hillsdale College infiltration compliments of the DeSantis regime.
