“My Attorney is here.” That is how Marlon Bolton introduced Tamarac City Attorney Hans Ottinot at the “Key To The Region” event in Fort Lauderdale last Friday. “An amazing guy,” Bolton said. “He keeps me out of trouble.”

Just one problem.

As the Tamarac City Attorney, Hans Ottinot is not Marlon Bolton’s attorney. Ottinot’s job is not keeping Bolton “out of trouble.” Ottinot is supposed to represent the entire commission.

Perhaps Marlon was referring to the Shaker Village clubhouse debacle?

Or, the recent garbage contract fiasco?

Or….
