Numerous socialist and Palestinan groups will hold a protest at the Fort Lauderdale office of Congressman Jared Moskowitz on Monday. The protest is part of a larger movement to protest lawmakers and government entities supporting Israel. On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists murdered nearly 1,400 Israelis. Moskowitz and other Democrats have been highly supportive of Israel’s moves against Hamas.
Flyers for the protest do not mention Moskowitz by name. Instead, protesters are told to gather at 111 Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This location has been the longtime home of numerous Federal and State lawmakers.
According to the flyers, the Americans Friends Service Committee (AFSC) wants to “honor the dead” of Gaza by calling on lawmakers to stop funding Israel. The flyer makes no mention of “honoring” those killed by Hamas.
Even though the AFSC is alleged to the host of the protest, it is heavily promoted by socialist groups, anti-Israel groups and even some Black Lives Matter organizations.
Will this protest follow the violent nature of other recent protests?
During a protest in Boca Raton last week, an older protestor yelled “Go Hamas.” Other protesters carried signs calling for “intifada” in Florida. Three anti-Israeli protesters were arrested.
These idiots are out of control. I strongly suggest that South Floridians practice self-defense by taking firearm training and being prepared in case one of these lunatics threaten you. Jews are under attack and we are not safe unless we can protect ourselves.
South Florida is a fertile breeding ground for Jihadists. Many mosques and known terrorists have lived here or used the region for its planning and training. The Jihadis are armed heavily and the FBI no longer infiltrates Mosques or trains to recognize threats by Muslims. Thank Obama for those policies, even putting a Jihadist into the FBI to purge their training materials on Terrorism.
