BREAKING: Shaker Village Deal On Hold 90 Days As Lawsuit Creates Major Roadblock

BREAKING: The Tamarac City Commission voted to place a ninety day hold the controversial Shaker Village deal after a new lawsuit created title issues. The ninety day delay starts September 26, 2023. Hans Ottinot, the overmatched city attorney, said the lawsuit made it impossible for the issuance of title insurance. The lawsuit claims the Shaker Village Homeowners Association failed to acquire approval from seventy-five percent of homeowners to sell its dilapidated clubhouse for $1.9 million dollars.

I can’t decide what to focus on regarding Ottinot: Over matched or City Attorney. Really. Entering into a contract to PURCHASE condominium common elements without verifying that the “seller” had the right to offer the property for sale.

“Overmatched” doesn’t even begin to describe the incompetence and outright corruption of Hans Ottinot. He is literally the worst municipal “attorney” in all of South Florida, possibly the entire state. He is the subject of numerous Bar Complaints, one of which is still pending.

Believe me, his only client on that dais is Marlon Bolton, and as long has Bolton has two co-conspirators, Hans will do whatever it takes to make Marlon happy. Never trust any “legal” opinion that comes from that shyster because 99% of the time he’s wrong. Hans Ottinot needs to be permanently disbarred, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Ottinot, Bolton’s attorney, is so overmatched it’s insane. He is so incompetent. He speaks in circles, doesn’t know the law, and mumbles away. He acts more like he is looking out for Shaker Village interests rather then the City’s. It’s such a travesty that he is “our” attorney, and that we pay him, because he isn’t looking out for us.
