Someone wants to fool Pompano Beach voters into supporting an Independent and a former Republican running for the City Commission. Taking a page from Marlon Bolton’s bogus voter guides, the “Official Pompano Beach Voters Card” and the “Original Pompano Beach Voters Guide” feature pictures of Charlie Crist and other prominent Democrats like Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus McCormick, Val Demmings and controversial Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins.

While clearly appealing to Democrat voters, both cards endorsed the non-Democrats running for the Pompano Beach commission who support Beverly Perkins. The cards endorse Alison Fournier, a registered independent and longtime Broward Republican activist turned Democrat Tom Terwilliger.

Both cards lack a disclaimer identifying who paid for the card.
