The Sun-Sentinel exposed Nick Sortal’s troubling use of inappropriate sexual remarks more than two years ago. On the day Broward locked down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, reporter Anthony Man shared Sortal’s post about authorized activities.

Man wrote, “[Nick Sortal] a member of the Plantation City Council, recommends sex to fill the time created by #coronavirus cancellation of sporting events and curbs on travel.”

Sortal wrote, “This is my personal feed so this is my personal take in the Coronavirus: No sports are being played and health officials suggest no travel etc. But nowhere from any country has even one official recommended abstinence from sex. Enjoy your March!”

Yep, with the entire world facing an unprecedented emergency, Nick Sortal made a sex joke.

When an emergency happens, Plantation needs a Mayor ready to lead the City. We don’t need locker room jokes from a guy who thinks he’s still in high school.

Nick Sortal is unfit for office.
