The witch hunt in Tamarac ended with a whimper Wednesday night as Commissioners voted against hiring a lawyer to find a whistleblower. The vote was 5-0 to NOT pay attorney Robert Vaughn $50,000 to smoke out a whistleblower. Vaughn is a supporter of Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness.

Commissioner Elberg Mike Gelin claimed the Office of the Inspector General of Broward will investigate the matter.

So, the Broward OIG will investigate who spoke to the Sun-Sentinel? Well that’s not chilling at all.
