Petrocelli Planning Broward GOP Hibernation?

Some Republican activists are weary of new Broward GOP chairman Rico Petrocelli’s rumored plan to limit meetings of the Broward Republican Executive Committee. Sources say Petrocelli, elected as the new chairman last week, plans six (or as few as four) meetings next year with no gathering during summer months.

Some activists worry the the lack of meetings will have an adverse affect on grassroots training, candidate recruitment and fundraising. While the big ticket races won’t happen until 2014, Broward will see many municipal elections in 2013. Stay tuned…
