William Barkins has filed for the at large Broward School Board seat (District 9) and Grover Monroe is seeking the district 5 seat.

Back in 2004, Barkins filed to run against Bev Gallagher(D-Federal Inmate). This time he would challenge Board Member Robin Bartleman and Barbara Houston Wilson.

Monroe wants the seat currently held by retiring Board Member Ben Williams (D-Ineffective). The crowded field to replace Williams is lead by Torey Alston.

Just remember, the winners will have to deal with Ann Murray on a regular basis. You’ve been warned.
