Broward (Democrat) County Commissioner Stacy Ritter is the subject of self-published e-book. The book “Inside-A Look At Broward’s Most Corrupt Couple”, penned by “Anonymous”, recounts the various issues swirling around Ritter and her husband, lobbyist Russ Klenet.
It appears the author is the same person behind another e-book promising an “Inside” look at the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The Ritter book will set you back $12.50.
We haven’t read the latest book, but the BSO book provided a few new facts. It was mostly a compilation of comments culled from Bob Norman’s Daily Pulp blog in the New Times.
As we always say, “Reading Is Fundamental.”

someone who is totally “anonymous” wants us to pay $12.50 to buy this garbage? And if it’s just “a compilation of comments” like the last “book,” I’ve seen it already. BFD
is that that the conventional wisdom at the old Burdine’s?
I just read this book and I have to say it doesn’t matter that much of this information was already out there. There is new information I didn’t know, but a lot of it is a good refresher course. However, every story is worth repeating, and when you see them strung together in a timeline, there is no way you can say this woman, and her husband, should not be indicted. The book is highly entertaining, and enlightening. Some parts are laugh out loud, some just show how sorry our political and law enforcement systems are; for instance, that the state’s attorney would allow this kind of corruption to get unchecked. The Steinger deposition where Klenet is carught red-handed in his lies regarding the relationship with fraudster Joel Steinger is amazing! The lies about his lobbyist work, caught with evidence in the URS notebook. How does one even walk away with that residue on his hands, and get away with it?! These people are disgusting. Let me suggest that come election time, Ritter’s opponent(s) walk into the condo complexes and tell the folks to put aside Stacy’s pot and cup holders and read this book. Her reign is done and both should be indicted. I give the book five stars. Note: I checked with Amazon because I didn’t know the Lulu.com site. Amazon said they have a paperback pending and it should be available on their site within the next few days.
This book should be a tool to help get Stacy Ritter out of local government. It’s time elections aren’t decided by big money from powerbrokers who line their personal pockets, but rather by informed voters who have a chance to know the character of the people who are representing them. The political manipulation that made Broward County the cesspool it is, is over.
