WSVN (Miami) reports that former Broward Sheriff Nick Navarro has died. Navarro, a Republican, appeared on the first episodes of the FOX television series COPS; His appearance along with other BSO personnel garnered much attention for Broward county.
Navarro made headlines when he objected to the music of Luther Campbell and 2Live Crew. Members of 2Live Crew were arrested after a performance in Broward.
