The Sun-Sentinel has endorsed Jerry Fadgen for Plantation Mayor, calling him “the better choice.”
“His experience, grasp of the issues facing the city and his overall passion for the bottom line gives him the edge, especially in what are anticipated to be harsh budgetary days ahead for Florida’s local governments.”
“If elected, Fadgen would move to revitalize the city’s neighborhood enhancement program. In an effort to spur business interest in Plantation, he’d work with smaller commercial property owners to address high vacancy rates and also push the city to buy more goods and services from local businesses.”

Jerry is a good person. So is Diane. Plantation is lucky to have 2 qualified people run.
Only wished you had used a photo that doesn’t show one of Jerry’s signs that is violation of the law (which is very clear on this violation). I think he later fixed it, but you haven’t. Unlike Warren that still has some of his signs out with the unauthorized person’s quote on it (check Broward Blvd. as of yesterday).
Regrettably, individuals actively supporting the opponent of both Jerry and myself have continued to remove covernings placed on my signage in an effort to cause embarassment and dissention. The Archdiocese is aware of the situation and we are continuing to make repairs as quickly as possible. My personal congradulations to Jerry on his endorsement by the Sun Sentinel. We both agree, Diane Bendekovic would be a complete disaster for the City of Plantation. Jerry and I agree on far more than we disagree.
Mr. Meddoff, get over yourself. Why did you use the Archbishop’s name without his permission on your campaign signs? You are trying to deflect attention from your major blunder. You brought the embarrassment on yourself, so don’t try to blame your opponents.
I pity the fool…
