RED BROWARD has finally heard from Plantation Mayoral candidate R. Warren Meddoff in a series of late-night and early morning emails.
“I received the letter from the Archbishop that you have in your possession. In his signed letter he stated, ‘This document should prove helpful to you in your efforts to “combat the forces of evil” as you seek public office.’ The day the signed letter from the Archbishop was received, I attempted to contact the Msgr of the local parish. The request was followed up three days later and the Parish secretary asked me to leave a message on the Msgr’s voice mail in addition to her taking the message. I did not receive any reply to any of these requests. Legal council has advised me that the Archbishop’s signed letter constituted permission. I do not view it as an endorsement, but rather as a personal blessing in accordance with my request for the same to him.”
“I will contact Mary Rose Agosta in the morning. I shall insure that she has copies of both letters and the emails to Msgr. Fogarty. I will then allow her to remove her foot from her mouth.”
“I am not Catholic.”
“You are, in my opinion, an individual working to assist Diane Bendekovic in her efforts to win the position of Mayor.”
“I believe that you support Ms. Bendekovic because one of her primary supporters, Buddy Nevins, has utilized blogs to attack me in the manner that you do, since I declared my candidacy and your efforts only support her as Mitch Ceaser is rallying Democratic support utilizing them.”
“My mission is to win the Mayorship of Plantation as the best qualified candidate to administer the City, honestly and fiscally responsibly.”
“I contacted Msgr Fogarty with the mistaken belief that as a man of God, he would be interested in ridding the City of corruption, nepotism and the arrogance of the progressive leftist that control it. As a courtesy to the local parish of St Gregory the Great, I felt that communication with their spiritual leader, the Archbishop, would be important to them. Again, I was mistaken. It has only now become important because of my quoting the Archbishop’s personal communication to me. The fact that it was a personal communication made directly to me, legally gives me the right to utilize it and reproduce it as I see fit to do.”
‘I am running for Mayor, it is my intention to win votes where ever there are large, motivated, blocks of voters. I do not feel that Ms. Bendekovic is qualified to be anything other than a figurehead Mayor. She has no practical experience in finance or administration and in my opinion has aligned herself with some truly evil people. I became a member of the Green Party after my experience within the beltway in Washington during my involvement with the Thompson hearings. I found little practical difference between either the Democratic or Republican parties. I am familiar with the Catholic church’s policy and rationals. However, they do bless good, fight evil and I have found them to do commendable humanitarian works throughout the world. The Catholic churches philosophy about the environment matches my own.”
R Warren is a smoke and mirrors kind of a guy. always playing the blame game. At least he has threaten you with a lawsuit yet. He knows Jerry Fadgen is the true conservative in Plantation’s mayor race. Is there any other city that would like to have Meddoff as a resident? He has worn thin in Plantation!

The Church never endorses candidates. Everyone in my circle of friends will know what Meddoff has tried to do.
