Broward Early Votes Drop Again, GOP Steady At 20%

Broward vote totals continued to drop on day 3 of early voting. Unofficial results from the Broward Supervisor of Elections (SOE) office show 29,847 early votes were cast on Wednesday. This number is down from the 31,339 votes cast on Monday.

Republicans continue to account for twenty percent of the Broward early vote total. When it comes to absentee ballots, Broward Republicans make up more than twenty-six percent of the vote in Democrat-dominated Broward.

The Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs recorded the most votes on Wednesday. The Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines was a close second.

Broward Early Voting Day One: Republicans Make Up 20% Of First Day Totals

Unofficial results from day one show Republicans account for twenty percent of early vote totals. Broward Supervisor of Elections (SOE) Brenda Snipes reports 31,340 early votes were cast on Monday. This was an increase from the 28,000 early votes on day one in the 2012 general election.

SOE results show 6,271 Republican votes were cast across Broward county. The top voting location was the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines. The fewest votes were recorded at the SOE/E. Pat Larkin Center in Pompano Beach.
