Ellyn Bogdanoff Will Run For Re-Election To Florida Senate

With the Florida Supreme Court approving the new redistricting maps, Florida State Senator Ellyn Bogdanoff announced to re-election campaign via Facebook:

“Good News!

We just received official word that the Florida Supreme Court has certified the new district maps. With this news, our campaign is officially underway in the new District 34, which encompasses portions of Palm Beach County including Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton as well as coastal Broward County from Deerfield Beach to Fort Lauderdale. I look forward to getting back out on the campaign trail and meeting with many of you again to discuss the issues that are important to our community.

Back To The Drawing Board: FL Supreme Court Rejects Senate Redistricting Plan

Florida Supreme Court rejects (5-2) Florida Senate redistricting plan. The Court approved the Florida House plan. Word is the Senate will return to Tallahassee in late March to fix things.

This is exactly the type of chaos Democrats hoped for when they pushed for Amendments 5 and 6 back in 2010.
