“Young Gun” Adam Hasner Gets Support From Washington DC

Adam Hasner, Republican candidate for US Congress CD-22, has received an important stamp of approval from the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). Hasner is “on the radar” of the influential DC group meaning he is a superior candidate deserving of financial support and more. Coming on the heels of his endorsement by Congressman Allen West, Hasner’s status as an NRCC “Young Gun” should scare off any potential GOP challengers.

The Miami Herald reported on this story earlier this morning:

“The National Republican Congressional Committee is announcing that Hasner made it into the second stage of its so-called “Young Guns” program, which helps candidates who’ve proven their ability to meet crucial campaign benchmarks to develop their campaigns. Hasner made it to the ‘On the Radar’ status, the second set of organizational and fundraising benchmarks.

‘Adam Hasner’s dedication and experience positions him to advocate for pro-growth policies and fight the failed Democrat status quo in Washington,’ said NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions, R-Texas.”

It’s Official: Allen West DEM Challenger Is Following Him To New District

Patrick Murphy (D-Erin) is going to move along with Congressman Allen West to a new district. No doubt Murphy is following the orders of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Broward Democrats; This leaves Lois Frankel and Kristen Jacobs running for the Democrat nomination in CD-22.

Adam Hasner, the lone Republican in the race, has the backing of Congressman West as well as many in Broward, Tallahassee and Washington DC.

Here is Murphy’s statement:

“Allen West can run, but he can’t hide.

Last week, after loudly pronouncing that Democrats should ‘get the hell out of the United States,’ West promptly ‘got the hell’ out of his own district. West abandoned his constituents to seek what he believes is a more politically favorable ground in a neighboring district to the north.

Sorry, Allen, there is no safe district for you.

I have spoken to local, state, and national Democratic activists and leaders and the support for me continuing my campaign against Allen West – wherever he runs – is overwhelming.

Today, I am announcing that I am taking the fight to Allen West in District 18 and will defeat him in November.”
