Happy Columbus Day Broward Style

Join Broward’s elite as they celebrate Columbus Day in style.

Über lobbyist and salami sandwich doyenne Judy Stern is hosting a “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” marathon complete with salami sandwiches.

FL State Rep Joe Gibbons (D-Carpetbagger) is bringing Jacksonville’s finest delicacies.

Stacy Ritter (D-Booby Trap) and the CLUB RED dancers will add a touch of Vegas to the Columbus Day fun.

Franklin Sands (D-lobbyist) will provide the laughs as he proclaims his stepson and LSN Partners will not lobby the Broward School Board if he is elected.

Abby Freedman and Scott Israel (D-Republican) will perform a magical rendition of “The Rose”, while Russ Klenet will surely bring down the house with his version of “Puttin’ On The Ritz”.

The grand finale will be a doozy. Ilene Lieberman (D-Not A Judge) and her Magical Cats will juggle a dozen mangoes.

Holy Dancing Salami! Did Stacy Ritter Team Up With Judy Stern?

Did Broward’s favorite dancing commissioner just enlist the aid of uber-lobbyist and salami sandwich doyenne Judy Stern? Tipsters told us about a recent luncheon for Stacy Ritter (D-Booby Trap) hosted by Stern, but Ritter’s latest campaign report offers more proof.

Ritter paid $8000 to The Kitchens Group for “polling and research”. Another Stern favorite, Fl State Rep Joe Gibbons (D-Jacksonville) paid $5,500 to The Kitchens Group. Gibbons paid Judy $4,694.90; Damn the price of salami has really gone up. Heck, Julio Gonzalez only paid Judy $3,575.

Back in 2008, Democrat Sheriff Candidate Scott Israel (D-Former Republican) enlisted The Kitchen Group at the behest of his consultant…Judy Stern. Broward Beat covered the lawsuit filed by Kitchens against Scott Israel:

“Israel told Kitchen that the bill was the responsibility of his former campaign manager Judy Stern, who often works with the Kitchens Group.

‘The law says the candidate is the agent for the campaign. The candidate is responsible,’ Kitchen said.

‘I have no comment,’ Israel said. ‘It’s in litigation and there are a plethora of issues. Obviously, I believe I acted honorably and honestly as I always do.’”
