South Florida Teacher Unions Launch Attack On Governor Ron DeSantis

The United Teachers Of Dade launched a new attack on Governor Ron DeSantis. Dubbed “Not Fooling Us,” the new campaign highlights the same old tired Democrat attacks on Republicans. The Broward Teachers Union shared the new campaign with its members.

The website for the campaign states, “We are struggling to keep politics out of classrooms so we can focus on teaching math, science, reading and honest history, which will help our kids prepare for college and career. But Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is too busy attacking teachers and passing laws to criminalize them.”

The website shares Democrat talking points on guns and healthcare as well.

The unions promise a rally on April 1st at the Miami-Dade Government Center.

So Tom who fed you this press release this time? “[T]he new campaign highlights the same old tired Democrat attacks on Republicans.” LOL! To the extent that AI-generated catch phrase has any basis in reality, it would only be because the “Republicans” (or those that claim to be these days) are still spewing the “same old tired” ultra-rightest culture wars BS. Not one piece of constructive legislation to address real world issues affecting Florida residents, such as the ongoing homeowners insurance crisis, the homeowners being screwed on their policy claims for the destruction Hurricane Ian left behind, the continuing housing crisis, and the use of fast track foreclosures throwing FL residents out of their homes especially in black and low-income communities. Instead, the Tallahassee supermajority with no checks & balances gives us smoke and mirrors, purely distractive culture wars crap. But, sure, the problem is the South Florida teachers union(s). LOL! Thanks for more “hard hitting” reporting Tom.
