Ron Paul Supporters Challenging Broward GOP’s Sharon Day And Ed Kennedy

Broward Republican State Committeeman Ed Kennedy and RNC co-chair Sharon Day are being challenged by two local Ron Paul supporters. Broward Supervisor of Elections states Corrine DiPasquale has qualified to face Ms. Day. Mr. Kennedy will face off against Ryan Anderson.

Kennedy and Day, both longtime Broward activists, are very popular among Broward Republicans.

We’re pretty sure Ed Kennedy NEVER took part in any “Broward4Obama” meetups like Mr. Anderson. Anderson states he’s “disappointed ” because Obama “turned out to be just as bad as George Bush.” A winning slogan to be sure…

These people are nuts. We need to come together and build a ground game to not only defeat Obama but also Fire Debbie Wasserman Schultz too. It is time to join the Tea Party movement and any other conservative grass roots organizations. We have no choice but to stand up and be counted, our nations survival depends on it.

Unite behind what? A presidential candidate who stands for nothing (or anything) depending on which direction the wind blows that day? A corrupt party system that is just as bad, if not worse than their Democratic counterparts? Unity behind a lesser evil is still unifying behind evil. How about supporting and electing someone who stands for something, who is honest and steadfast in his beliefs (which are Constitutional, by the way)? Can you say NDAA? For me it is…

The Florida GOP needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into the modern age, beginning with Broward County. However, I would never vote for someone who supported Obama. It shows lack of judgement.
