Patti Good, Broward School Board Member District 2, has filed her 2012 campaign paperwork. Ms. Good was elected in August 2010 to fill out the term of disgraced School Board Member Beverly Gallagher.
Some wondered if Ms. Good would seek one of the at-large seats, but her papers are for District 2 which is mostly southwest Broward County.
As always, I strongly advise all District 2 citizens to VET the candidates. Look up their backgrounds in google and through the County police records. Check out their views on politics, religion, and US history. I, personally, do not want a person on our school board that is an ultra liberal, Islamic-Sharia pusher, and that does not respect our American heritage and our American Flag. All members of our school boards should believe in reciting the pledge of alligance to our US Flag, singing our national anthem and at least saying a silent prayer when appropriate. In G-d we trust is still our belief. Respect for our culture is mandatory.
