Maureen Dinnen responded to a recent television report regarding her family members business with the Broward County School Board. She called the report “bizarre” and used “beware” and “forewarned” and “legal recourse”. Cue the scary music.

You want to talk about ‘bizarre,’ how about only minutes after Ms. Dinnen’s speech, Dave Thomas moves to alter the prior board meeting minutes to reflect a change in his vote to “abstain,” regarding contracts that involve his family members. And, he says he was doing so “to avoid a conflict of interest.” And what do we glean from this?

William H. Davison Jr. if I was at the meeting I would have called for a point of order on Ms Dinnen. She was elected to do school board business if she wants to make a campagin speech she can sign up and talk at 1:00 like everybody else using her power to speak was not in the best interest of the board or her She made a bad choice to stop the meeting to air her personal problems. I would like to see a law suit then everything will come out to the public. You have made a mistake by stopping school board business for personal reason and you are going to have to life with the mistake.
