The Florida Anti Defamation League wrote a letter to Broward School Board Member Ann Murray. The ADL said:

“In light of your official position of trust as a member of the Broward County School Board, with both a legal and moral duty to treat all students, as well District employees, equally and fairly without regard to immutable characteristics, your apology is simply not enough. We therefore urge you to take the lead in promoting student, teacher and administrative programming, curriculum, and trainings that promote a climate of respectfulness and inclusivity in the Broward Public Schools.
