Brenda Snipes announced that she will seek another term as Broward Supervisor of Elections. Snipes’ decision short-circuits the plans of some prominent local Democrats. RED BROWARD hearing reports that Snipes will have GOP challenger. No word if Snipes will use her standard campaign slogan: ” hey, at least she isn’t Oliphant!”
We’ve gotta find someone good to run against her.
Why? Does the D or R make a difference in how you do your job. It should be a non-partisan/independent race anyhow. Like judges. The preception of bias should be eliminated. There should not be any difference in how the job is done no matter which party you belong to.
Competency is needed. That is why Jane Carrol, a Republican won so many years in a democratic county. They were trusted to do their job and count votes. That’s it.
