Richard DeNapoli refutes recent report that BREC Treasurer’s documents are “missing”. An online story
claimed the following:
“DeNapoli recently stated that the BREC had raised in excess of $20,000 from the last fundraising event held on October 8, and he also claimed that all Treasurer reports have been filed with the County. This is a very interesting assertion, since the reporting date of 9/11-2010- 10/8/2010 is conveniently missing from the Broward Supervisor of Election’s summary. This means that ‘Treasurer DeNapoli did not file for this reporting period as he said he did, yet reported every period thereafter. Is there something here that he is trying to hide?”
DeNapoli states Treasurer’s reports were filed electronically with the Supervisor of Elections Office. A hard copy of the report was submitted as well. DeNapoli tells RED BROWARD, the BREC treasurer’s reports are submitted to the SOE but the documents themselves are posted to the SOE website by a third-party vendor. A simple call to Mary Cooney at SOE seems to be in order. DeNapoli provided RED BROWARD with copies of the 9/11/2010- 9/24/2010 and 9/25/2010-10/08/2010 reports.
you are such a DeNapoli hack! when was this electronically sent in, today? hahahaha

Red Broward: “DeNapoli states Treasurer’s reports were filed electronically with the Supervisor of Elections Office.” But the people want to know when was it sent in electronically? Today? 7 hours ago? And why was it not signed and dated? Hmmmmmmm???

Great idea posting the missing reports. They are very light and so, quite difficult to read. But I see no date (that they were submitted) nor do I see any kind of date stamp from the SOE. And in fact, it still has not been posted by the SOE on their website, although they HAVE posted another, later report. http://www.browardsoe.org/CFElectionFilings.aspx?elect_id=&comm_id=47
But really, my favourite part is the fact that it reports that we have
EXPENDITURES: $ 238,113.73
INCOME: $ 177,454.20 (including in-kind donations).
