Joe Bankman, father of FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was a speaker at the OIC Of South Florida’s “Middle Class Summit” sponsored by FTX. Bankman, brother of Broward Democrat lobbyist Barbara Miller, attended the event in August 2022. Last week, REDBROWARD documented Joe Bankman’s role in developing the FTX Hackathon aimed at Broward students.

Other panelists and speakers at the “Middle Class Summit” included a US attorney, several members of Congress, the Broward State Attorney, the Miami-Dade State Attorney, the Broward Public Defender, the Broward School Superintendent and many other members of South Florida’s elite.

OIC South Florida is funded by taxpayers.
