AP: According to her publicist, Whitney Houston dead at age 48

KCAL CBS Los Angeles reports:

“Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown.”

NBC News confirms Whitney Houston is dead.

TMZ says Houston died at Beverly Hills Hilton; Crime Scene Unit at hotel:
“According to our sources, Houston died at the Beverly Hilton hotel. A police crime lab vehicle was seen outside the hotel just moments ago (see below).”
