UPDATE: Local “TEACHER OF THE YEAR” Victim Of Intimidation, Harassment. School Board Member Wants Him Investigated?

Last week, Robert Sutton, a Broward high school teacher, talked to RED BROWARD about

corruption at the School Board of Broward County. It appears the powers-that-be were not happy with Sutton’s remarks. Sources tell RED BROWARD that a Broward County Commissioner called Sutton at school. Another source states a Broward School Member has asked the District’s Special Investigative Unit (SIU) to look into Sutton. Also, anonymous emails with an intimidating tone, have been sent to Sutton at his school.

Mr. Sutton says he has given sworn testimony to the State Attorney’s Office in an unrelated matter; Since it is an ongoing investigation Sutton would not reveal the nature of his testimony. Sutton is concerned the attempts to reach him at his workplace constitute witness tampering. Sutton has alerted law enforcement.

RED BROWARD attempted to reach the State Attorney’s Office for comment. SAO has not responded as of this time.
