Tallahassee–Reports say former US Senator (and BREC chairman) George Lemieux is getting close to making a decision on whether to run for Senate in 2012.
When asked directly, Lemieux said, “ ‘I’m surely thinking about it. It’s a big endeavor,’ adding that his wife, Meike, had given ‘green light’ to talk to supporters about running.
‘So stay tuned,'”

Oh please, we do not need another rino in Washington! He is not a strong conservative.
So you’re either a “strong conservative” or a “rino”? What makes you believe he’s a “rino”? Before you say Charlie, could you tell us who you voted for in 2006? Thanks
It wasn’t for Charlie, that’s for sure!
That’s right you are either a conservative or a rino! Those in between are centrist that will go either way.
You said “strong conservative” not just “conservative”. Does that mean a conservative that doesn’t share all of your views is simply a “Rino”?
It sounds to me that you folks will support anyone as long as they belong to the “R” party selected by the political machine or the media which is the main reason why we have elected multiple Fabian Republican socialists already.
I appreciate you reading our reports. I won’t make any assumptions about you for simple reason: I don’t know you. You shouldn’t make any assumptions either. You really don’t know who I support or have supported in the past. I heard Col McAllister speak the other night. I look forward to hearing more.
Conversation over!
That’s why I love libertarians…lots of absolutes and little desire to discuss what happens when such absolute opinions run into cold reality.
