Last November, Red Broward reported on the sad state of the BREC website. The website was down too often and when it wasn’t offline it did not impress.
It was put to shame by the local Democrat website. The DEC had better graphics and superior information.
It appears that the new BREC team, lead by Chairman Richard DeNapoli, listened to your complaints. During the BREC campaign for chairman, DeNapoli promised too upgrade BREC’s website and social media presence. So, as promised, here is the new BREC website (www.browardgop.org)
The graphics are much improved as is the layout. On the information side, you can find applications, a member’s only area, calendar and an “insider” section.

Good job Chairman DeNapoli and BREC team!!!
The new site is looking good
BREC’s website (or lack thereof) was one of the primary reasons I created TheBrowardRepublican.com almost four years ago. I’ve since left the state and the website I created is now defunct, but I still check in on things in Broward County from time to time. And I would love it if I had the same rose-colored glasses that Red Broward apparently likes to wear, but a website is not just about looking pretty; there needs to be content. So, as a test, ask a question about Broward politics you would like to know about and then see if you can find it on their new website. You want to find when and where a local GOP club is meeting? Not there. You want to know about upcoming events? The calendar has a total of only two entries for the entire year. You want to know who your elected officials are? Good luck with that one. And I won’t even touch on the broken links found on the website (except that I guess I just did). Maybe the new website is a starting point, but (regretfully) it still has a long way to go.
In fairness, the website is new. It will never be my source for all things Broward. I get my info from many sources(not just Republican). My glasses are tint-free. Just showcasing the vast improvement in what BREC is offering it’s members.
