“We just confirmed some sad news.
Susan Madori, 66, the candidate who came within a hair’s breadth of forcing Broward School Board Chairwoman Jennifer Gottlieb into a runoff back in August, passed away on Sunday. Madori’s niece confirmed the news Monday morning.
Family members said she was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and emphysema. No local services will be held. She’ll be buried in a family plot in Chicago.”

Susan, was a true Patriot to put herself out there on behalf of so many. Her grit and determination to help make a difference among so much adversity, can only be admired. God rest her soul. Our prayers and sympathy to her entire family.
