This week’s winner of the prestigious “Foreign Diplomat Who Loves Broward Politics Award™️” goes to Oliver Mair, General Consul of Jamaica. Mr. Mair is regular attendee of political and community events in Lauderhill, Miramar and Tamarac.
In March, Mair hosted a group of Broward elected officials and even judges at his official residence in Miami. According to a published report, “Consul General Mair commended the team of 20 elected officials and persons in the legal fraternity….for their outstanding contribution to community and national development in the United States. ‘All of Jamaica is proud of your outstanding achievements’ he added.”
He is often seen hobnobbing with elected officials such as Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness and leaders from Miramar.
Congratulations Consul Mair…
Wait, why is a foreign diplomat regularly meeting with Broward elected officials and judges?
