Broward Republican Party Chairman Robert Sutton confirms Governor Jeb Bush will be the headliner at the March Lincoln Day Dinner. On Monday, Sutton made the official announcement in an email to local Republicans.

DID BREC ‘CHOOSE’ JEB ABOVE ALL OTHERS, OR DID THEY SETTLE FOR HIM BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT GET A MORE PALATABLE CANDIDATE, SUCH AS DONALD TRUMP OR TED CRUZ…. YOU KNOW, THE TYPE OF CANDIDATES THAT “THE PEOPLE” WANT FOR PRESIDENT.
Common Core is a leftist tool for indoctrinating children. But my long-term problem with Jeb Bush is that he has proven that he does not take the constitutional rights of the residents of Florida as seriously as any governor should. To be fair, Charlie Crist was just as flawed. But when Jeb Bush had the opportunity to stand up for the rights of a woman who was being starved slowly to death at the order of a sociopathic federal judge, Jeb stood down. The governor of one of the largest states in the Union stood down as degenerates were torturously killing an innocent woman, in a demonic fashion that would never have been tolerated had she only been found guilty of something. I vote to remove Jeb Bush’s feeding tube.
Jeb would be a coup if he were running for city council, a position to which he has been suitably diminished. Under the premise that nothing is for free but may be a cost reduction is the objective, I suggest that BREC purchase a box of broken watches as the price may be just right. No wonder the country has gone to hell in large part. Groups like brec (lower case intentional) interact with one another sharing the same unworkable viewsand ideas so they may see themselves as relevant among each other. BREC’s relevancy is only to themselves and while they have not yet voted, to democrats.

this should do as John Hancock has, luckily for him, passed on. A good thing I moved from Broward.
The word out is that there is a silent boycott on the event, since the establishment republicans are pushing for a total Loser. I’m wondering who would pay to listen to a guy that has a difficult time speaking in public to begin with and who was generously booed at our previous BREC meetings ? Cant find ANYONE else? Don’t know who made the decision, but…… lame.
Lauren, I like your enthusiasm. I am sorry but I can’t feel that way. He was a good Governor for Florida. His heart is not in the Presidency. Plus he is for amnesty and Common Core.
Jeb can’t beat Trump, in 7 months he only declined in polls! How can he beat Hillary, his “Step-Sister-in-Law” as his brother W called her, because their PAPA Bush called Bill Clinton his Adapted SON! Those two dynasties MUST GO. Lauren, you jumped from supporting one loosing candidate to another. Wake up and support the Leader.

Dear Lauren,
When I first heard you speak you sounded like a conservative and I was impressed with your knowledge and your passion. I remember the organization you supported for smaller government. Something appears to have happened to all that since you joined BREC. Your statements about millennials saying they like and appreciate Jeb Bush for the work he did for Broward County leaves me a little empty. What are the accomplishments he completed?
If Jeb rocks, it must be in your own mind. Have you noticed that in the polls he has fallen like a rock?
My question to the BREC board is: why would you choose a candidate for Lincoln Day who is desperate and losing? We need a speaker to encourage, motivate and excite Republicans and he doesn’t fit the bill. The purpose for the Lincoln Day Dinner is to raise money to help Republican candidates win, good luck with that.

He backed the BIG BUSINESS citrus industry and stripped every yard of ALL citrus trees. It was a disgrace and reminded us of what a government Nazi invasion felt like. Our meager replacement coupons were from Walmart, another cozy corporate co-mingle that left out small business. We felt so violated and betrayed as they ripped out our trees and never answered any questions (like where is the infected tree), that my husband refused to vote for him that year for Governor – I remain proud of my husband for his decision.
Then there is his answer to the question of what are you going to do about the Chinese robbing American businesses blind by copying designs, patents and fraudulently pretending to be that company in almost every industry? His answer should scare everyone – the WTO. Really, the World Trade Organization is going to fix this??? This just exemplifies and confirms he is PROGRESSIVE and promotes UN supremacy over our Constitution.

Jeb Bush: Republicans Don’t Need Conservatives to Win White House, Should Not Defund Exec Amnesty
Even though moderate Republican candidates lose presidential elections without the conservative base (see: George H.W. Bush ’92, Bob Dole ’96, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) ’08, Mitt Romney ’12), former Florida Governor and potential presidential candidate Jeb Bush thinks conservatives are not needed to win the White House…

It is clear that Jeb Bush is nothing like his brother, George. And Former Congressman Allen West (R-FL) is boldly speaking out against Jeb. His comments on Fox News with Sean Hannity are annoying the Republican political establishment. He believes Jeb is a big government “progressive”:

My friend Bernard Sansaricq writes:
“Very few Republicans are aware that Jeb Bush has been supporting corrupt Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings for years. I ran against Hastings in 2010 Alcee Hastings is perceived to be one of the most corrupt politicians in America… Jeb Bush is a “DEM” a RINO …. Country Club Republican ! Admirer of Obama …”
BREC is doing nothing. The “C” stands for “Committee”. When were we (the committeemen and committeewomen) asked? When did we vote to approve? We DIDN’T! This is misappropriation of funds in violation of Florida Statutes.
Worse to me is that Robert Sutton lied to me at the holiday mixer at Riverside when I asked if Jeb was the Keynote and he said “NO”. I don’t know why anyone would want that RINO Loser Globalist at that Dinner. I for one won’t be back. We got what we expected the night of the vote when Robert gave NO speech and said, “you all know me”. Attitude.
JEB BUSH EMBRACES NEW WORLD ORDER; COMMON CORE PROVIDES GLOBAL EDUCATION
There is more behind the facade of what Jeb Bush stands for than meets the eye… “Jeb Bush, a conservative, a moderate, or a globalist,”… Although it has been reported that Jeb Bush governed as a conservative, in the interim Bush has taken positions that mirror those of Democrats, specifically with amnesty and Common core…
Schlafly: Don’t Let Republican Elitists Nominate Someone Like Jeb Bush
…I want to activate the grassroots to realize they can be the dominant factor in the Republican Party and nominate a candidate for president who is our choice, such as the example of Ronald Reagan in 1980.”…
…“We don’t want the candidate who is picked by the elitists, the globalists, the internationalists, the RINOs and I can tell you their number one choice is Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush is a globalist, an internationalist, he likes UN treaties and he likes Common Core…
…Jeb, in his youthful days as a “businessman,” cut his political teeth in behind-the scenes CIA drug smuggling, savings and loan rip-offs, and covert Central American wars…
No one that I know gives a whiz about Jeb Bush. How much have you committed to pay this fat bag of wind?

Attitude.

Jeb Bush was caught standing on his tiptoes during the group photo at Wednesday’s Republican debate
The 6’3″ Bush did it multiple times, despite being the tallest candidate on the stage
He also stretched out his arms, taking up more space than anyone else in the photos
Bush said in an interview Thursday morning he was doing this to try and find his wife in the crowd
