    For Margate
Frank Tallerico Phil should have run for the open seat. he could have done well(won’t be upset if Phil wins tho.
Brian Donahue is an Independent Messana is spreading around that Mclean got Donahue to run to split the ballot(an absolute lie) another one that should have run for the open seat. he could have done well
Le Peerman have only been on commission for 1yr 10 months but certain people did not want to see me get a free ride. Took a pay cut, asked for a commissioner’s resignation. Fred wants the government to go into foreclosed houses to fix their code violations and bill the banks.(Illegal and what part of less government does that fall under)
Joanne Simone has more community involvement than Scott. Scott is only running so he can run for state rep in 2014,I am not a big fan of someone using us as a stepping stone.
Tell me why do you think there is no Republican on the open seat????
It seems to me he did his homework on some of the races but looks like must have gotten the Let’s TAKE Margate from the Tamarac/Coconut Creek/Margate Republican club president thus making a non partisan position partisan. Never has the democratic club in Margate done that.
Give us some good Republicans and I will bet they can get elected in Margate

There’s a rule at BSO forbidding officers to associate with known felons. Lamberti didn’t know about his campaign consultant Lewis’ past? Either Lamberti feels above the law or is incompetent. Since Red Broward has pegged Israel as a GOP’er they shouldn’t have a problem with picking the honest one of the two.

That BSO Policy applies when the felon is “known” to be a felon. No one knew because his record was expunged and a regular records check would not even reveal that. Only law enforcement agencies have access to expunged records for “employee applicants.” It is not Ben reasonable to think that every employee of a LE agency will run a background check on potential friends or associates. It is unlawful to access LE databases for personal reasons. Please check your facts before posting nonsense.

How can anyone endorse Al Lamberti? He didn’t fire Bill Lewis until Lewis was arrested for spousal abuse and the conviction became public. Lamberti said he has no responsibility for knowing the background of the people working for him. Isn’t it the sheriff’s job to check the background of the people he hires?

It is not his responsibility to do a background check on people he hires for personal matters that are not official BSO business. To expect him to do that would be a violation of law by accessing government databases for personal use, that would be an abuse of power. The word “conviction” was not an appropriate term to use, I think the writer wanted to use “arrest.” Sheriff Lamberti immediately terminated his services and expressed his disgust with the charges.

Let’s not forget that Nichols, along with hanging out with corrupt democrats like Terry Scott and Convicted former Commish Portier, supported corrupt Ken Keechl against a fellow republican-Chip Lamarca in 2010. Now he wants the GOP support? NO WAY!

Say no to amendment 4 says that this amendment will just shift the taxes to Homeowners. The Bigmoney interest will be getting by with paying at least 50% less while new home buyers will get stuck paying more , whats up with that?
