Republican Ozzie DeFaria picked up a big endorsement from US Senator John McCain. Here is the release from the Ozzie For Congress campaign:

Since I am running for congress in CD 20 Florida against Alcee Hastings, I can now support a particular candidate in the CD 23 primary. I know the three major candidates and I have asked my supporters and they have agreed with this decision. We all know all about Karen Harrington and her style of politics which is for losers, we all know the hate that is inside the heart of Joe Kaufman, so that leaves us with just one man, Ozzie DaFaria! Ozzie is a man with true conservative up bringing , a beautifu family and get knowledge in the business world as well as the financial world. He is the only candidate that has taken the time to get to know how things work in DC , gone to Israel and has had a position of learning what is on the minds of the people. So I have now asked all my supporters that live in CD 23 to volunteer and work for Ozzie DeFaria to become the next congressman from district 23. I will continue my fight to defeat Alcee Hastings. Lets make it a trofecta and fire the Three Stooges Obama, Debbie and Alcee in Nov.

I wouldn’t call that a plus on any level… I had to throw up in my mouth to pull the lever for McCain… Anyone he endorses is immediately suspect to me and makes me wonder if they share his anti-American values.
