Instead of attacks, lists of endorsements, and snarky Facebook posts shouldn’t all candidates for BREC leadership tell us how they’re going to help elect more Republicans in Broward county? Last week’s GOP wave was barely a ripple here. We can’t settle for an Allen West victory here and a Chip LaMarca triumph there.
How many democrats ran against “write-in” instead of a Republican? How many Republicans voted for a Democrat because they didn’t know better? Are we going to use the “Century Village” and “King’s Point” excuses forever? Are we going to cede everything west of Lighthouse Point to Mitch Cesar and the Dems? Are we going to let the democrats fight amongst themselves for control of the School Board? The County Commission? Are we going to keep settling for one seat on each?
I’m just asking. Any thoughts?
I totally agree with this. Just like any political position tell us where you stand and what you plan to do. All these pundits talking about unity and disunity, well they are the ones promoting disunity, take them with a grain as they have their agendas. For those who “report” they need to keep their personal opinions out of their reports also.

I agree as well but if the candidates want our vote then they should have the decency to take questions from the people from the floor not just a couple of questions written on a piece of paper and picked from a box. If they are going to represent us then they should talk to the people one on one. And if not… Then it’s the same old candidates with the same old agenda!
